• Ask me anything!A story told only in wires. I call it ‘The sorrows of young Hideyoshi’.
I’m now back in London. I decided to start drawing with a nib pen and brush instead of the micron pen and pocket-brush I had been using forever. Rereading after many years all my Corto Maltese albums back at my mum’s flat has left me in awe and very inspired.
When I get 20 pages inked, I’ll take a short break from the story I’ve been drawing for the past two weeks, because I want to work on submissions for anthologies I’ve been neglecting since summer. I’m a student again these days, that’s why I’m getting less stuff done.. Also I’m going back to Finland for two weeks where I plan to not get depressed about art and just hang around with my nephew. And try to figure out what I want to do next, because there’s still this series written in sketchbooks, I have to get the first chapter out by July.
So, here’s a question I’ve been contemplating (for whoever reads this blog thing): would you rather read 10-20 page installments whenever they’re done or read the whole thing at once assuming it doesn’t take me the rest of eternity?
(The drawing in this post is not related to the comic, it’s from my sketchbook)
